Our Annual Satisfaction Survey

At Bethel Bethesda, nothing makes us happier than hearing that we have given a family back their peace of mind, knowing that their loved one is safe and happy.  In order to give the best possible care, we use a variety of ways to regularly gather feedback from our residents and those closest to them. We listen intently to our residents and their families in our annual quality assurance survey. Their feedback is deeply valued and used to continually improve our care.

Fundamentally it has been our priority to keep residents safe and families regularly updated. We are thrilled that our residents scored us 95.83%, along with their friends & family scoring us 98.12% overall for questions regarding 'Is the service safe?'.

Here at Bethel Bethesda, we welcome suggestions and recommendations from everyone involved in caring for our residents.

We take pride in the skills, qualifications and knowledge held by all of our staff. Our survey results reflected this too with overall results for effectiveness of 89.29% from residents, and 99.50% from friends, family & advocates.


One family member said regarding their late mothers care: "Trained staff were very knowledgeable and we discussed Mum's care needs together... She always received prompt care and attention."

Our loving and dedicated team receives on-going training and support in order to give residents the best possible care that they deserve. So we were delighted to learn that when asked about the care received we were rated 90.48% by our residents and 99.29% by their friends, family & advocates.


One family member commented: "We are kept well informed and are confident that 'relative' is being taken care of in our absence. We have been more than impressed with the friendliness of the staff and have always been made welcome."

Any issues that arise at Bethel Bethesda are treated with quickly and are managed with our residents remaining our highest priority. We feel our results on Responsiveness reflect this with results of 91.67% from our residents and 99.16% from friends, family & advocates.

Emily Lumb is the Registered Manager and holds over 25+ years of experience within the Health & Social Care sector. When asked if the service is well-led, our residents gave us an overall score of 95.36% and family, friends and advocates 97%.


One family member said: "Mum has only been a resident for 6 weeks but has thrived in this time. My brothers and I are very pleased with the care she is receiving. She is safe, well cared for and most importantly, happy."
